Jun 24, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm PDT| $45
Learn how to elicit, collect, and craft personal stories from family, neighbors, workmates, and constituents. In this four hour workshop, Hearth founder Mark Yaconelli will teach you the skills, methods, and sensibilities for gathering stories from others. Whether archiving memories from family members, collecting narratives for a particular work, or amplifying the experiences of your community–you will find this workshop practical and applicable for many settings.
Participants will also have the opportunity to work with The Hearth in our SOhumans (Southern Oregon Humans) Project–a gallery of portraits and stories of local people from Southern Oregon inspired by Humans of New York.
