Bring your friends to The Hearth’s fall community gathering October 10th from 7 to 9pm at Temple Emek Shalom in Ashland. The theme is “Rite of Passage: True Tales of Change” and will include personal stories by six locals about a time they were initiated into a new understanding of themselves and the world. Tellers include Ken Crocker, Kristy Laschober, Erica Ledesma, Brent Florindo, Angela Fleischer and Laz Ayala. Music by Gracie Yaconelli, Ben Jahn, Jack Diab, and Sage and Sadie Meadows. Hosted by Mark Yaconelli. $5-$15 sliding scale. Proceeds at the door help benefit the Prevention Education Programs of Jackson County SART. Concessions provided in part by the Ashland High Culinary Arts Program.
