The Hearth is offering a seven-month certification program to assist community and organizational leaders in learning a variety of skills, techniques, and processes for producing community storytelling programs. The training program begins with a three-day workshop on March 20-23, 2019 and ends with a closing intensive October 23-26, 2019; both intensives will take place in retreat-like settings in Ashland, Oregon. Between the spring and fall workshops, participants will gather online for training, troubleshooting, and discussion and receive individual coaching with The Hearth founder, Mark Yaconelli.
Continuing Education Units are available through a partnership with Southern Oregon University (SOU). (Note: The Hearth is an independent nonprofit organization that is not an affiliate or program of SOU; certificates awarded are solely presented by The Hearth and do not confer endorsement of any kind by SOU beyond conferment of Continuing Education Units.)
