Please join us for a free online story circle (in English) Thursday, March 11th from 6:30-8:00 pm (PST). This gathering will focus on the ways that COVID-19 has impacted our lives. The month of March marks the one-year anniversary of when we all first began to “shelter in place.” Remember the days when we used to leave our mail and packages untouched for 24 hours in the front hallway?  And when we frantically wiped down all our groceries and ran out of toilet paper?  This story circle will bring us together in community to share our humorous and heartbreaking stories from the pandemic.  Khaliqa Baqi and Monse Alegria will facilitate the evening on Zoom with story prompts and small group exercises.

This event is free but registration is limited and pre-registration is required.  Sign up by March 10th to receive event instructions and a Zoom invitation. Register here.

This event will also be offered in Spanish on Thursday, March 18th, also from 6:30-8:00 pm (PST). For registration information about the Spanish language event, please sign up for the De La Raíz newsletter here.
