The Hearth held its first online Story Circle event in June. Story circles allow you to connect with others in community by remembering and sharing experiences from your own life, and to be a witness to the stories of others. As one participant from June’s event noted, “In this period of isolation, it provided an exceptional opportunity to feel connected and appreciate our wonderful community all the more.”
The Story Circle evening was so popular that The Hearth is going to do it again on Thursday, September 17th. Mark Yaconelli will facilitate the evening on Zoom with story prompts and small group exercises. This event is free but registration is limited and pre-registration is required. Sign up by September 15th to receive event instructions and a Zoom invitation the day before the event.
