Join your friends and neighbors for an all-ages community sing-along! Gathering together to unify our voices in song is a powerful force that strengthens our community bonds and uplifts our spirits. Hosted by Josh Blaine of Finding Our Voice, Mark Yaconelli of the The Hearth and sponsored by Rogue World Music, it all takes place Thursday, September 7th from 7 to 8:30pm at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Church (87 Fourth St. in Ashland).

Ten local musicians from Southern Oregon will each lead the group in an accessible song for “Singalongs and Protest Songs.” Songleaders include Phoenix Sigalove , Tish McFadden, Jennifer Joss, Lisa Spencer, Karen Wennlund, Daniel Jokelson, Paula Sohl, Adam Kukuk – musician and composer, Val Rogers , and Megan Danforth.

Finding Our Voice “In Search of Sing-alongs and Protest Songs” is a grassroots project by Josh Blaine of Austin, TX consisting of podcasts and popups. He is traveling from Austin to Seattle connecting with musicians and song leaders who are writing, reviving and teaching songs with a message that we can sing together.
