Due to conflicts with two SOU community events (authors Cornel West and Frank Schaefer will each be speaking on Thursday, October 17th), the fall Hearth personal storytelling event, “Crime and Punishment,” has been postponed to October 24th. We have a great lineup: a judge, a policewoman, a court interpreter, and folks who have done time in county jail, as well as state and federal prison. A very rich night of stories. Cost is $5 and all proceeds will go to On Track addiction recovery in Medford. Great local music and hosted by Mark Yaconelli at Temple Emek Shalom in Ashland from 7 to 9pm. Get there early to get a good seat.
